LESSON #5The Diatonic Theory for 4 Note Chords We've seen how we can extract 3 note chords (triads) for
the various scales, but we can make things much more interesting by extracting 4 note chords from the various scales.
Here, we extract the notes...
1, 3, 5, 7
2, 4, 6, 8
3, 5, 7, 9 etc.
For the scale of C this would mean that the first 4 note chord would consist of the notes...
C, E, G, and B. This makes the chord CMaj7 (C Major 7).
Here is the chart for ALL
of the chords from all of the major scales. This time I will include the sharp and flat chords as well so we will have 12 lots of 7 chords = 84 chords.
